Actinidioionoside (Compound 2) is a type of megastigmane glucoside found in borage. It exhibits DPPH radical scavenging activity with an IC50 of 41.3 μM and shows no significant cytotoxicity against A549 human lung cancer cells (IC50 > 100 μM) . Actinidioionoside is applicable in antioxidant research.
