Chlovalicin - CAS 179799-38-3

Chlovalicin is found in the [Streptomyces] FO-4649 strain. In the presence of 0.2 U/mL IL-6, Chlovalicin inhibits the growth of IL-6-dependent MH60 cells with an IC50 of 7.5 μM. It also suppresses the proliferation of B16 melanoma cells, exhibiting an IC50 of 38 μM. Additionally, Chlovalicin shows inhibitory activity against osteoclastogenesis.
