Deoxyfrenolicin is a quinone antibiotic that can be isolated from the fermentation broth of the Streptomyces roseofulvus strain AM-3867 and belongs to the frenolicin class of antibiotics. This compound exhibits in vitro antibacterial activity and is effective in inhibiting the activity of Mycoplasma gallisepticum.
