DL-3-Indolylglycine - CAS 6747-15-5

D, L-3-indolylglycine is an unnatural amino acid very similar to tryptophan, and its indole portion is directly connected to the α-position. Target: D, L-3-indolyl glycine can be used for functional protein design. One study described the inclusion of similar aza-indolylglycine moieties in peptidomimetics in order to functionally replace tryptophan moieties.
