It enhances ubiquitination (EC 50 =32 nM) of TOM20, a mitochondrial outer membrane protein and USP30 substrate, thereby promoting mitophagy. Additionally, MTX115325 prevents dopaminergic neuron loss and maintains striatal dopamine [1].
