Phomoxanthone A - CAS 359844-69-2

Phomoxanthone A is a flavonoid dimer isolated from Phomopsis. It exhibits antimalarial activity against the resistant strain of Plasmodium falciparum (K1, IC50 = 0.11 μg/mL) and displays antitubercular properties against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (H37Ra strain, MIC = 0.50 μg/mL) . Additionally, Phomoxanthone A shows cytotoxicity in KB, BC-1, and Vero cells with IC50 values of 0.99, 0.51, and 1.4 μg/mL, respectively.
