Sibenadet (AR-C68397AA (free base) ) is a dual dopamine D2/β2-adrenoceptor agonist with selectivity for β2-adrenoceptor activation. It inhibits capsaicin-induced plasma protein extravasation in rat trachea and reduces edema by activating β2-adrenergic receptors, thereby inhibiting the activation of sensory nerve fibers. Sibenadet is a potential candidate for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) research.
